20 Sketch Pencil Brushes: is this $10 stack worth it for Drawing & Painting?
If you’re sketching in Procreate and want a ready-to-go set that doesn’t require hours of trial and error, 20 Sketch Pencil Brushes is a $10 bet that ships exactly what it claims — and more. This isn’t just a brush pack; it’s a structured way to jump into sketching with real-life tools and guides from an active artist. The question is whether the 20 brushes, process videos, and guidebook stack up to what you’re actually trying to build.
brookskim has made this a lifetime product with ongoing updates, which is rare for a $10 tool. That means if the brushes evolve or new textures are added, you get them for free. The catch? You have to be okay with the format and deliverables as they are — no customizations, no extra features beyond what’s listed.
