Is 2024 Wallpaper Package worth it if you’re shopping in Drawing & Painting?
WLOP’s 2024 Wallpaper Package: The definitive digital art drop for your desktop
If you’ve ever stared at a blank desktop and felt the low-grade hum of a static background, you know the specific kind of digital fatigue that comes with the same three generic gradients. For artists, designers, and digital creators who live in front of a screen all day, the visual environment matters more than we usually admit. It’s the backdrop for every client deck, every late-night render, and every creative block. (2024 Wallpaper Package)
WLOP, the artist behind some of the most recognizable digital portraits in the online art community, has packaged his entire 2024 output into a single, high-resolution drop. This isn’t a random assortment of stock images; it’s a curated year of his personal work, including both static masterpieces and animated live wallpapers. If you’ve been following his evolution in digital painting and want to bring that aesthetic directly into your workspace, the 2024 Wallpaper Package is the most direct way to do it.

What you’re actually buying
At $40, you aren’t just buying a zip file; you are buying a snapshot of a year’s worth of creative direction from one of the most influential names in digital art. The core value here is the completeness of the collection. Most artists release wallpapers sporadically or in small batches, forcing fans to track down individual files across various social media posts. WLOP has consolidated every piece he created in 2024 into one place, ensuring you get the full narrative of his artistic growth over that period. (2024 Wallpaper Package)
The package is a hybrid of static high-resolution artworks and live wallpapers. The static pieces are ideal for high-DPI monitors where you want a sharp, detailed portrait or landscape to anchor your screen. The live wallpapers add a dynamic layer, bringing subtle motion to your desktop that can be surprisingly calming during long work sessions. This mix is rare in digital art drops; usually, you get one or the other. Here, you get the best of both worlds, allowing you to switch between a detailed static view and a moving, atmospheric background depending on your mood or the time of day. (2024 Wallpaper Package)
The aesthetic consistency is another major draw. Because these are all from the same year, they share a cohesive color palette and stylistic language. This means your desktop won’t look like a chaotic collage of random downloads. Instead, it looks like a curated exhibition. For designers who care about the “vibe” of their workspace, this curated 2024 collection provides a level of visual harmony that is difficult to achieve by piecing together wallpapers from different sources.
Why it’s on our radar
This drop is interesting because it represents a “year-end” bundle that many artists never actually produce. Instead of releasing a single “best of” piece, WLOP has committed to sharing the entire body of work from 2024. For a buyer, this is a significant value proposition: you are getting the volume of a full year’s output for the price of a single high-end piece. (2024 Wallpaper Package)
The inclusion of live wallpapers alongside static art is also a specific signal of quality. Creating animated wallpapers requires extra effort in terms of file size optimization and loop smoothing. By including them, WLOP is showing that he values the experience of the artwork, not just the image itself. It’s a detail that separates a casual wallpaper dump from a professional-grade digital product. If you are looking for a way to elevate your digital environment without spending hours hunting for individual files, this all-in-one 2024 package is a streamlined solution.
What actually matters
When buying digital art packs, the resolution and file types are the two things that can make or break the experience. Since this is a $40 package, you should expect high-resolution files that are suitable for 4K and potentially 5K monitors. Check the listing for specific dimensions to ensure they match your screen setup. If you have a ultrawide monitor, verify that the aspect ratios included in the 2024 Wallpaper Package will fit without significant cropping.
Another key factor is the file format for live wallpapers. Depending on your operating system (Windows or macOS), live wallpapers may come in different formats (e.g., .mp4 for Windows, .hevc for macOS, or a specific app format). Ensure the package includes the correct format for your system, or check if it includes instructions for converting them. The product page should clarify this, but it’s a common pain point for buyers of animated backgrounds.
Finally, consider the licensing. While these are wallpapers for personal use, if you are a content creator who might show your screen on stream, it’s worth a quick check on the terms. Most artists allow this, but it’s always good to confirm that you can display the artwork in a public setting. The WLOP store typically handles these standard digital art licenses, but a quick read-through ensures you’re covered.
Mid-check
If you’re ready to upgrade your desktop aesthetic with a full year of premium digital art, you can review the specific file sizes and formats on the sales page. (2024 Wallpaper Package)
FAQ
What is the resolution of the wallpapers in the 2024 package? The package is designed for high-end displays, typically including 4K (3840x2160) and higher resolutions. This ensures that the intricate details in WLOP’s digital paintings remain sharp on modern monitors. You can verify the exact pixel dimensions for each file on the product listing.
Does the package include both static and live wallpapers? Yes. This is a key feature of the 2024 Wallpaper Package. It includes both high-resolution static images and animated live wallpapers, giving you the flexibility to choose between a detailed, still background and a dynamic, moving one.
Is this product suitable for phone wallpapers? While the primary focus is on desktop and monitor resolution, many of the high-resolution static artworks can be cropped for use on smartphones. However, the live wallpapers are specifically optimized for desktop environments. If you are primarily looking for phone-only assets, you may want to check if the static art files are large enough for your device’s screen.
Bottom line
WLOP’s 2024 Wallpaper Package is a no-brainer for anyone who appreciates high-quality digital art and wants a cohesive, premium look for their workspace. At $40, you are getting a full year’s worth of work from a top-tier artist, including the rare bonus of live wallpapers. It’s not just a set of images; it’s a curated visual experience that can transform your daily digital environment. If you’ve been following WLOP’s work and want to bring it directly into your daily life, this is the most efficient way to do it.
