Anadolu Efes BLOBs: The $5 Playbook for Coaches Who Want Proven Dead-Ball Structure

If you are a basketball coach tired of drawing up dead-ball plays from scratch every single week, the gap between “I have an idea” and “I have a polished, executable set” is where your practice time goes to die. You know the theory of back-to-back EuroLeague champions, but translating that elite-level execution into your own gym floor is often a trial-and-error process that eats into your prep time. This is where Anadolu Efes BLOBs comes in. It’s not a vague collection of tips; it is a specific, $5 breakdown of the dead-ball offense used by a team that just won back-to-back titles.

The frustration isn’t just about having plays; it’s about having plays that account for the “wrinkles”—the defensive adjustments and secondary options that actually make a set work in live ball. Most cheap digital guides stop at the initial cut or pass, leaving you to figure out the rest. This pack from SAVI Basketball aims to close that gap by giving you the full architecture of the Efes system, ready to be adapted to your roster. (Anadolu Efes BLOBs)

Quick answer

What you’re actually buying

At $5, you aren’t just buying a PDF of diagrams; you are buying a visual walkthrough of the Anadolu Efes 2021-2022 dead-ball offense. The core of the offer is a 1080p video that runs for 4 minutes and 7 seconds, which might sound short, but in the context of a “25 plays” pack, that means the content is incredibly dense. You get a rapid-fire breakdown of 25 distinct plays, wrinkles, and options, all derived from the team’s actual game tape.

The value here is in the various formations covered. Instead of relying on one static alignment, the pack shows you how the Efes manipulate spacing and screens to create mismatches. You’re getting the “wrinkles”—the secondary actions and defensive counters—that separate a good play from a great one. For a coach, this means you can pull a set, watch the 1080p footage to see the timing, and then adapt the specific cuts to your players’ strengths. It’s a study tool that doubles as a ready-made playbook, allowing you to skip the research phase and jump straight into the drilling phase. (Anadolu Efes BLOBs)

Why it’s on our radar

This pack is interesting because it targets a very specific niche: coaches who respect the EuroLeague style of play but don’t have access to the full game films or the time to break them down frame-by-frame. Most digital basketball products are either too broad (general “improve your offense” courses) or too narrow (a single drill). Anadolu Efes BLOBs sits in the sweet spot of specificity. It doesn’t promise to make you a EuroLeague team; it promises to give you the tools those teams use.

The fact that it focuses on the 2021-2022 season is a plus, as it represents a peak of that team’s tactical identity. You are looking at a system that was battle-tested in high-pressure environments, not just theoretical concepts. For a small investment, you get a library of 25 sets that cover a wide range of offensive scenarios, making it a high-value addition to any coach’s binder. (Anadolu Efes BLOBs)

What actually matters

When you download this, the first thing to check is the clarity of the video walkthrough. Since the entire pack is covered in a 4:07 duration, the pacing will be fast. You’ll want to ensure that the 1080p resolution is sufficient for you to see the specific hand-offs and screen sets clearly. If you are a visual learner, this format is ideal; if you prefer text-heavy manuals, you might need to pause and rewind frequently. (Anadolu Efes BLOBs)

Second, consider the adaptability of the 25 plays. Look at the variety of formations. Do they match your team’s spacing? If you play a small-ball lineup, the “wrinkles” included here are likely to be particularly useful, as they often rely on movement and shooting rather than post dominance. Finally, verify that the “options” listed align with your defensive philosophy. A play that works against a drop coverage might need tweaking if you play a team that blitzes the ball. FAQ

Is this just a list of plays or does it include coaching tips? The product is primarily a visual breakdown of the 25 plays and their wrinkles. It focuses on the execution and the options available within each set, rather than providing a long-form coaching lecture. It’s designed to be a reference tool you can watch and then drill. (Anadolu Efes BLOBs)

Can I use these plays with a youth team? The plays are derived from a professional EuroLeague team, so the timing and spacing will be advanced. You will likely need to simplify the “wrinkles” and options for younger players, but the core structure of the 25 sets can be adapted if you break them down into smaller components. (Anadolu Efes BLOBs)

What is the file format? The deliverable is a 1080p video file with a duration of 4:07. This means you are getting a concise, high-resolution walkthrough rather than a long-form course or a PDF document. (Anadolu Efes BLOBs)

You get the tactical insight of a back-to-back EuroLeague champion in a format that is easy to digest and immediately applicable. It’s not a magic bullet, but it’s a high-quality set of tools that will save you hours of research and give you a proven foundation to build your own sets from.
