What you’re actually buying
Most people don’t need a new resume; they need to stop fighting with margins and font sizes in a word processor. Clean CV/Resume (Notion Template) solves that by moving your career narrative into a platform where structure is native. At $1.99, you aren’t just buying a blank page; you are buying a pre-configured layout that forces clarity. The template includes a dedicated About Me section, which is a smart addition for roles where personality and soft skills matter as much as technical output. It also features skill ratings and language proficiency blocks, allowing you to quantify your strengths rather than just listing them in a dry paragraph.
The visual hierarchy is designed to be “simple yet impactful,” meaning the employer’s eye is guided directly to your work experience and education without getting lost in decorative fluff. Because it lives in Notion, updating your CV for a new application is as easy as typing in a database or text block, rather than reformatting a document from scratch. This is particularly useful if you are applying to multiple roles and need to tweak your personal details or highlight different achievements for each application. You get a professional, modern aesthetic without the learning curve of a graphic design tool. (Clean CV/Resume (Notion Template))
Why it’s on our radar
This template stands out because it addresses the specific pain point of “resume fatigue” at a price point that removes the decision barrier. For $1.99, the risk of trying a new format is negligible, making it an easy yes for anyone stuck in a loop of outdated Word documents. The inclusion of profile photo placement and structured sections shows that Salience understood the need for a complete, self-contained presentation rather than just a text dump. It’s a practical tool for anyone who values their time and wants to present their qualifications in a way that feels current and organized. (Clean CV/Resume (Notion Template))
What actually matters
Before you buy, consider how you plan to share your CV. Since this is a Notion template, you will likely be sharing a public link or exporting to PDF. If the companies you are targeting require a strictly text-based PDF for their Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), you should verify that the Notion export maintains the clean structure of the Clean CV/Resume without breaking the layout. Additionally, think about the depth of your experience. The template provides structured sections for work history, but if you have a very long career, you may need to adjust the density of the text to ensure it remains “easy-to-read” as promised. Finally, check if the skill ratings format aligns with how you want to present your expertise; some industries prefer a simple list, while others appreciate the visual bar or star rating system.
