Feather brushset!: is this $2 stack worth it for Comics & Graphic Novels?
If you’re deep in a Procreate session and your default brushes just aren’t cutting it for that soft, airy look, you know the frustration. You don’t want to spend hours tweaking settings or paying premium prices for a pack that might not fit your specific style. You just want a set of tools that feel right out of the box. That’s exactly where Feather brushset! comes in. It’s a small, focused bundle designed to add a specific texture to your digital art without breaking the bank or cluttering your gallery with hundreds of options you’ll never use.

What you’re actually buying
At $2, Feather brushset! isn’t trying to be your entire digital art toolkit. It’s a specialized micro-pack. You’re getting 20 distinct brushes, all built specifically for Procreate. The file size is tiny—just under 2 MB—which means it downloads instantly and won’t eat up storage on your iPad.
The appeal here is specificity. Instead of a sprawling 500-brush library where you have to hunt for the right tool, this pack focuses on one vibe: feather-like, soft, and likely very useful for hair, fur, or atmospheric effects in your comics and graphic novels. It’s the kind of thing you grab when you have a specific panel or character design that needs a texture your current default brush can’t quite hit. (Feather brushset!)
You also have a low-risk entry point. The seller offers a free version with 7 brushes, which is a smart way to test the feel before committing the $2. If those 7 click with your style, the full 20-brush set is a no-brainer upgrade. If not, you’ve lost nothing. (Feather brushset!)
Why it’s on our radar
This pack stands out because it respects the buyer’s time and budget. In a market saturated with “mega-packs” and $50+ brush libraries, a $2 bundle that delivers exactly 20 usable tools is a refreshing counter-program. It’s a low-stakes experiment. You’re not buying a “system” or a “career change”; you’re buying a texture. (Feather brushset!)
The seller, Attki, also curates a clear ecosystem. They link to a free 7-brush trial and a much larger 510-brush anime pack, which tells you they understand the different needs of their audience. But for someone who just needs a quick soft-bristle option for a specific project, Feather brushset! is the precise, no-fuss choice.
What actually matters
Before you hit buy, keep these three things in mind: (Feather brushset!)
- Procreate Only: This is not a cross-platform pack. If you use Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, or Krita, these files won’t work. Check your app before checking out. (Feather brushset!)
- The “Feather” Vibe: The name is the promise. These brushes are likely designed for soft edges, hair, and delicate textures. If you’re looking for hard inking pens or watercolor washes, this isn’t the right tool. (Feather brushset!)
- Trial First: The seller offers a free 7-brush version. Use it. Load it into Procreate, test the pressure sensitivity, and see if the texture matches your vision. It’s the smartest way to spend $0 before spending $2. (Feather brushset!)
Mid-check
If you’re using Procreate and you’re missing that specific soft, feathery texture in your current workflow, this is a $2 experiment that’s hard to say no to. (Feather brushset!)
FAQ
Does Feather brushset! work on iPad? Yes, but only if you are using Procreate. The brushes are formatted specifically for that app and will not work in other digital painting software.
Can I try the brushes before buying the full pack? Absolutely. The seller offers a free version with 7 of the brushes. It’s a great way to test the feel and pressure response before committing to the full 20-brush set. (Feather brushset!)
Is this a good starter pack for beginners? It’s a great add-on for beginners who already have Procreate. If you’re brand new, you might want to start with a broader, all-in-one pack. But if you’re already drawing and just need a specific texture, this is a perfect low-cost upgrade. (Feather brushset!)
Bottom line
You don’t need another 500-brush library to make your art look better. Sometimes you just need the right texture for the next panel. Feather brushset! is a $2, 20-brush pack that delivers exactly that: a focused set of soft, feathery tools for Procreate artists. Try the free 7-brush version, and if it clicks, grab the full set.
