What you’re actually buying
You are not buying a finished product you can download and use right now. You are buying a spot in the queue for a high-quality 3D model of Roman Carax from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The seller, 3D.moonn, has explicitly set the price at $5,000 as a “temporary placeholder” to prevent accidental purchases by the general public. The actual transaction for the target audience is free, provided you are a current Patreon supporter and use the specific 100% discount code sent via Patreon DMs.
The core value here is exclusivity and timing. This listing was created in advance to secure the access code link for this month’s supporters. Because the final delivery has been postponed to next month due to a “sensitive personal matter,” the files are not yet uploaded. However, if you claim the product now using your code, it will save to your library immediately. When the final files are uploaded and the project is officially released, you will simply visit the same link or your Gumroad library to download everything. (roman carax - Cyberpunk edgerunners 2)
This is a rare scenario in digital goods where the “product” is the promise of future delivery backed by a specific community relationship. The seller emphasizes that this postponement is a first for their schedule, but was necessary to maintain quality standards during a difficult time. For a fan of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners aesthetic or a 3D artist looking for a specific character model, this offers a direct line to a creator who is prioritizing quality over speed. Why it’s on our radar
This listing stands out because it is not a standard commercial sale. It is a community-first release strategy where the product is gated behind Patreon support, and the Gumroad page serves as a technical vehicle for the access code rather than a checkout page for the general public. (roman carax - Cyberpunk edgerunners 2)
The specificity of the notice is a major signal of trust. The seller clearly distinguishes between those who have the code and those who do not, explicitly warning the public not to purchase at the placeholder price. This transparency about the delay and the reason for it (a personal matter affecting quality standards) builds credibility with the existing community. It’s a look at how a niche 3D artist manages a delayed launch while keeping their most loyal supporters engaged and prepared for the release. (roman carax - Cyberpunk edgerunners 2)
What actually matters
- Do you have the code? The most critical check is whether you received a 100% discount code in your Patreon DMs. If you do not have this code, the $5,000 price is real and you should not proceed. The product is intended only for this month’s Patreon supporters. (roman carax - Cyberpunk edgerunners 2)
- Are you okay with a delay? The final files are not yet available. You are claiming a placeholder that will be populated next month. If you need the 3D model for a project due this week, this is not the right tool. (roman carax - Cyberpunk edgerunners 2)
- Check your library. Once you claim the product with the code, it should appear in your Gumroad library. This is your confirmation that you have secured your early access spot. (roman carax - Cyberpunk edgerunners 2)
- Watch for the announcement. The seller will announce the official release on Patreon. You do not need to buy anything again; you just need to return to the same link or your library to download the final files. (roman carax - Cyberpunk edgerunners 2)
Mid-check
If you are a Patreon supporter with the code, secure your early access to the Roman Carax model now to save it to your library.
FAQ
Is this product available for purchase at $5,000? No. The $5,000 price is a temporary placeholder to prevent accidental purchases. The product is only available for free to current Patreon supporters who have received a 100% discount code. View the listing details to confirm the current status.
When will I receive the actual 3D model files? The final delivery has been postponed to next month. If you claim the product now with your code, the files will be available for download once the seller uploads them and announces the release on Patreon. You can check your Gumroad library for updates. (roman carax - Cyberpunk edgerunners 2)
Why is the price so high if it’s free for Patrons? The high price is a safety measure. It ensures that only those with the specific discount code (who get 100% off) can claim the product. This prevents the general public from accidentally buying the placeholder listing. Check the seller’s notice for more details on this process.
Bottom line

If you don’t have the code, or if you need the model immediately, this isn’t for you. For the right audience, it’s a reliable way to get a high-quality 3D asset from a trusted creator.
