Is ShedWith.Me - It Is Well FULL LESSON worth it if you’re shopping in Recorded Music?
ShedWith.Me “It Is Well” full lesson: the $1 way to stop guessing at worship set breakdowns
You know the drill. You find a worship track you love, you mute the original, and you start noodling on your keys or guitar. Ten minutes in, you’re stuck on a bridge transition. Fifteen minutes in, you’re wondering if the chord change is actually there or if you just imagined it. You keep scrubbing back and forth on the video, trying to hear the bass line through the mix, and the “shred session” turns into a frustrating guessing game. (ShedWith.Me - It Is Well FULL LESSON)
That is exactly the gap ShedWith.Me - It Is Well FULL LESSON is built to close. Matkat Music takes the entire song from the reference video and breaks it down for you, so you can stop fighting the mix and start playing the part. It is a hyper-specific, low-friction resource for players who want to learn a particular piece of music without spending an hour reverse-engineering every bar.
At $1, this is not a “buy it and forget it” library purchase. It is a targeted practice aid. If you are trying to add “It Is Well” to your rotation this week, this is the shortcut that gets you from “I like how it sounds” to “I can actually play it.” (ShedWith.Me - It Is Well FULL LESSON)

What you’re actually buying
You are not buying a vague “music theory” course. You are buying the specific roadmap to play “It Is Well.” The core value here is the full lesson aspect. Most free resources online give you the verse chords and leave you hanging at the chorus or the bridge. This package covers the entire song, meaning you get the structure for every section so you can play it start to finish. (ShedWith.Me - It Is Well FULL LESSON)
The format is designed for the “shred” mindset. You get the breakdown files that map out what is happening in the music, paired with the reference video link so you can always check your work. This is the difference between having a static PDF and having a dynamic study tool. You can open the ShedWith.Me lesson files on your tablet or laptop, put your instrument down, and see exactly where the changes are before you pick up your pick or hands again.
The price is the real hook. At $1, the risk is zero. You are essentially paying for the convenience of not having to spend an evening transcribing by ear. If you are a worship leader, a side-project musician, or just a hobbyist who wants to add a new song to your repertoire, this is the kind of micro-investment that pays off in the first practice session. Why it’s on our radar
This is interesting because it solves a very specific, low-level friction point in music practice. Most digital music products are either too broad (a 50-song pack) or too expensive (a full course). This sits in the sweet spot: one song, one price, immediate utility. (ShedWith.Me - It Is Well FULL LESSON)
The “full lesson” promise is also a strong differentiator. Many sellers offer “chord charts” that are just text. This is framed as a breakdown, implying a more detailed look at the phrasing, transitions, and structure of the track. For a player who is stuck on how to move from one section to another, that level of detail is worth more than just knowing the chords. (ShedWith.Me - It Is Well FULL LESSON)
It is also a great example of the “pay what you want” model working well. You can grab it for free, or you can drop a dollar to support the creator. That low barrier to entry makes it an easy yes for anyone who has been staring at the “It Is Well” video for too long. (ShedWith.Me - It Is Well FULL LESSON)
What actually matters
Before you hit checkout, keep these three things in mind to make sure this fits your workflow: (ShedWith.Me - It Is Well FULL LESSON)
- Check the reference video: The lesson is tied to a specific YouTube video. Make sure the version of the song in that video is the one you want to learn. If you are playing a different arrangement or artist’s version, this breakdown might not match. (ShedWith.Me - It Is Well FULL LESSON)
- Confirm the file format: Since this is a digital download, check what file types you receive (PDF, audio, video?). You want something that is easy to view on the device you practice with. The ShedWith.Me download page will show you the exact file types before you pay.
- Match it to your skill level: A “full breakdown” can sometimes be dense. If you are a complete beginner, you might find the detail overwhelming. If you are an intermediate player who just needs the structure to fill in the gaps, this is perfect. (ShedWith.Me - It Is Well FULL LESSON)
