What youāre actually buying
You are paying for a specific pairing: VEI (female) and KAEL (male). This is not a generic ācouple packā where you pick two random avatars from a menu; it is a curated duo sold together by Griffonka. The listing explicitly states that this bundle is designed to be used by two peopleāthe purchaser and their spouse or friendācreating a shared digital identity for your VRChat sessions. At $80, you are getting the convenience of a pre-matched set. Instead of hunting for a male avatar that visually harmonizes with a female one, you are buying a finished package. The title highlights face tracking as a core feature, which is a significant upgrade over static avatars for anyone who values expression and immersion in social VR. The compatibility tags (PC, Quest, OPTI) suggest these are optimized for the major platforms, meaning you arenāt stuck on a specific headset if your gaming group is mixed. The licensing is specific: it covers the buyer and one other person. This is a standard practice for ācoupleā digital goods to prevent sharing with large groups, but it means the value is locked to a pair. If you are shopping for yourself and your partner, the $80 price point buys you both avatars, saving the hassle of coordinating separate purchases and ensuring the visual style is consistent across both characters. Why itās on our radar
This product stands out because it solves a niche but common problem: finding two high-quality avatars that look like they belong together. Most avatar sellers offer individual models, forcing buyers to guess if a male and female design will clash in terms of color palette, texture quality, or overall aesthetic. Griffonka has done the curation work for you. (š„VEIš„& š„KAELš„PC&QUEST&OPTI COUPLE)
The inclusion of face tracking in the title is a strong signal of quality. Many budget avatar packs skip this feature to save on rigging costs, but here it is front and center, promising a more lifelike experience. The fact that it supports OPTI (likely referring to OptiLayer or similar optimization) alongside standard PC and Quest compatibility makes it a versatile choice for a wider range of hardware setups. A Gumroad review captures the immediate aesthetic appeal: āThe avatar is so pretty. Thank you, creator, for making such an avatar. I hope you sell a lot and become rich.ā Another buyer emphasized the bundleās value, noting, āif you donāt like this male you are gay, its awesome bundle.ā While the tone is casual, the sentiment is clear: the visual design is a primary driver for buyers, and the pairing is seen as a strong, cohesive unit.
What actually matters
Before you checkout, confirm the licensing scope. The description is clear that this is for two people (you + one other). If you are part of a larger friend group or guild that wants to all match up, this specific bundle will not cover you. You would need to purchase additional copies or look for a different licensing tier if available. (š„VEIš„& š„KAELš„PC&QUEST&OPTI COUPLE)
Check the platform compatibility against your specific hardware. While the title lists PC, Quest, and OPTI, always verify the file formats and requirements on the current product page to ensure they match your VRChat setup. If you are on a lower-end PC or a specific Quest model, confirming the optimization details is crucial to avoid performance issues.
Finally, review the individual model pages. The seller directs you to check the separate listings for VEI and KAEL for full information. This is a smart move by the seller, as it allows you to see detailed breakdowns of each avatarās features, textures, and rigging. Donāt just buy the bundle blindly; spend five minutes on the individual pages to ensure the specific features of each avatar meet your expectations. (š„VEIš„& š„KAELš„PC&QUEST&OPTI COUPLE)
Mid-check
If the visual style of VEI and KAEL matches your vibe and you have a partner or friend ready to join you in VRChat, this is a straightforward purchase. The face tracking and platform compatibility make it a solid choice for immersive social sessions. (š„VEIš„& š„KAELš„PC&QUEST&OPTI COUPLE)
