July Rewards 2026 (EXPRESSION 101: SMILES TUTORIAL) by samdoesarts: is the $7 smiles bundle worth it?
If your characters keep falling into the same flat, awkward faces, the problem is rarely “draw harder.” It is usually missing reference, missing brush logic, and missing a short practice loop that forces you to study expression instead of guessing. July Rewards 2026 (EXPRESSION 101: SMILES TUTORIAL) is a $7 way to add that loop to your drawing routine, with a smiles tutorial, process videos, PSD brushes, and a set of PNG/PSD files to study. At this price, it is easy to test whether a focused expression bundle can improve your character faces faster than another random tutorial playlist.

What you’re actually buying
The appeal is not one long course. It is a compact study set: the smiles tutorial gives you a specific expression problem to solve, while the two process videos let you see how the artist thinks through the work. That combination is useful for character artists because smiles are deceptively hard: the mouth, teeth, eyes, cheeks, and head angle all need to agree before the face feels alive.
The files add value beyond a single lesson. You get the June 2026 PNG/PSD files to reference or break apart, plus the PSD brush set for working in a PSD-based drawing workflow. If you already paint in layers, that matters: you can study the structure, test the brushes on your own characters, and keep the files as practice material instead of consuming a tutorial and moving on.
The price makes the risk small. At $7, this is not a “buy it and transform your portfolio” purchase. It is a focused expression drill: one month of reward content, one clear topic, and enough files to make the practice feel concrete. If you have been stuck on stiff smiles, awkward teeth, or characters whose faces do not match their emotion, this is a reasonable next step.
Why it’s on our radar
It has a small but useful public signal: 6 ratings averaging 4.3 out of 5. That is not a massive crowd, but for a $7 expression bundle it suggests enough buyers have opened the files to leave a meaningful score. The topic is narrow, which helps: smiles are a common pain point, and the bundle pairs a tutorial with brushes and files rather than just a video.
What actually matters
- Confirm the tier before checkout. The listing warns to select the right tier, so make sure the option you choose includes the files and tutorial you expect. Check current tier options if you are unsure.
- Check your software compatibility. The bundle centers on PNG/PSD files and PSD brushes, so it will be most useful if you can open or study PSD layers in your drawing app.
- Decide what you need from the tutorial. If you want a quick smiles refresher, this is a strong fit. If you need a full anatomy, color, or portfolio curriculum, look for a broader course.
- Treat it as practice material, not a shortcut. The value comes from opening the files, redrawing smiles, and testing the brushes on your own characters.

FAQ
Is July Rewards 2026 (EXPRESSION 101: SMILES TUTORIAL) a full course?
No. It is a focused bundle built around smiles: a tutorial, two process videos, PSD brushes, and PNG/PSD files. It works best as a practice set, not a complete curriculum.
What file types are included?
The listing includes PNG and PSD files from June 2026, PSD brushes, and the smiles tutorial. If your workflow is PSD-based, that makes the bundle especially useful.
Do I need to choose a tier?
Yes. The listing asks you to select the right tier before checkout, so confirm the option you want before paying.
Is it worth it if I already draw characters?
If your characters struggle with smiles, teeth, or expression consistency, the $7 price makes it an easy experiment. If you already have a strong smiles reference library and do not need PSD brushes, you may not need it.
Bottom line
July Rewards 2026 (EXPRESSION 101: SMILES TUTORIAL) is worth a look if you want a cheap, focused way to improve character smiles without buying a large course. The strongest case is the combo: a specific smiles tutorial, process videos, PSD brushes, and files you can actually open and study. If you are a character artist who wants to practice expression with concrete reference, check July Rewards 2026 and confirm the tier before checkout.
