What you’re actually buying
If you’re a digital artist using Procreate and looking for a set of high-quality, realistic pencil and graphite brushes, Pencilmania delivers on the basics. You get 54 handcrafted brushes, ranging from 12H to 12B, including eraser brushes, shading tools, and hatching brushes. These are designed to mimic the feel of working with real pencils and graphite on paper, and they work especially well with the Smudge tool or as colored pencils.
The package also includes 10 high-resolution paper textures in PNG format, which are tailored for graphite and pencil work. These textures can be used to give your digital drawings a more authentic, traditional feel. For those looking to study or replicate techniques, there are two pencil portrait time-lapses, along with their final PNG versions, which can be a helpful learning resource.
What sets this bundle apart is the free updates promise. Any future improvements or additions to the brush set are included at no extra cost, which is a nice touch for buyers who want long-term value.

Additionally, the set includes 10 later additions to the brush collection, such as the Pencil Tip Side HB/3B, Square Graphite Stick HB/3B, and Graphite Marks 01–06, which expand the versatility of the brushes. The PNG format of the paper textures ensures compatibility with a wide range of digital art tools, and the time-lapses are presented in a clear, final format that can be used as reference or study material.
Why it’s on our radar
This is a rare case where a $20 purchase feels like a full stack: 54 Procreate brushes that mimic real pencils, 10 paper textures tailored for graphite work, and even time-lapse examples to help you learn techniques. The free future updates are a bonus that adds long-term value, especially for artists who want a polished set without the hassle of building one from scratch.
